Overview
UW ECHO in Geriatrics offers FREE Virtual Case Consultation, Networking, and CECME for Healthcare and Social Services Providers, and students! The ECHO is a geriatric care community of practice including a case conference plus educational presentation. Through the UW ECHO in Geriatrics, healthcare professionals throughout the region have the opportunity to receive best-practice recommendations for consideration in management of older adults. You are invited to present challenging cases for discussion and feedback to a network of colleagues as well as a specialist care team. Each ECHO session will also feature a brief community discussion on a variety of important topics related to geriatrics.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, learners will: develop a network of geriatric care practitioners; create hubs of geriatric expertise in the Rocky Mountain Region; implement best practices for geriatric patients; identify strategies to assess and address the 4Ms (What Matters, Mentation, Mobility, Medication) of geriatric healthcare..

ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Objectives: At the conclusion of this activity, learners will: develop a network of geriatric care practitioners; create hubs of geriatric expertise in the Rocky Mountain Region; implement best practices for geriatric patients; identify strategies to assess and address the 4Ms (What Matters, Mentation, Mobility, Medication) of geriatric healthcare.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of University of Wyoming and Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is accredited by the Colorado Medical Society to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center designates this presentation for a maximum of (12.0) AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM. Physicians should claim only the credit that commensurate with the extent of their participation.

NCPD:
