Massive Transfusion Protocol "MTP" Team Lead 9-30

1. Identify indications for activating a Massive Transfusion Protocol (MTP) and articulate the clinical criteria used across ICU, OR, ED, and MB settings.
2. Demonstrate effective leadership during an active MTP, including role delegation, communication loops, and coordination with multidisciplinary team members.
3. Recognize and manage complications associated with massive transfusion, such as hypocalcemia, coagulopathy, hypothermia, and transfusion reactions.

Cheyenne Regional Medical Center is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by Colorado Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

1.5 Contact hour(s) will be awarded upon attendance at the entire activity and completion of the evaluation. 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 20 days before the course will be refunded, less a 20% administrative fee. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date. Please send cancellation requests to  [email protected].
