HeartCode ACLS is the AHA’s ACLS blended learning delivery method. Blended learning is a combination of eLearning, in which a student completes part of the course in a self-directed manner, followed by a hands-on skills session.

After completing the online portion, students will attend a structured, Instructor-led hands-on session that focuses on meaningful skills practice, debriefing, team dynamics training, megacode cases, discussions of local protocols and skills testing.

Who is this course for: 

•  Can be taken as an initial or recertification course
  • Self-study of EKGs before class is highly recommended.
  • BLS certification is not included as part of ACLS certification.
  
  • Course consists of:
  1. Online HeartCode module:
              - Must be completed before class
              - Adaptive Learning Module- anticipate 4-8 hours of computer time
              - HeartCode module counts for the written exam
              - Bring printed HeartCode completion certificate to class
  
         2. In-class/Hands-on Learning:
             - Apply ACLS utilizing skills stations and hands on demonstration
             - Megacode practice and testing

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received in writing no less than 7 days before the course will be refunded. No refunds will be made on cancellations received after that date and instead funds will be applied to a rescheduled course. Please send cancellation requests to [email protected].

Cheyenne Regional reserves the right to cancel or postpone this program if necessary; in the event of cancellation, course fees will be fully refunded. We are not responsible for other costs incurred such as non-refundable airline tickets or hotel penalties.
